What is the customisation process?
The process includes 4 simple steps:
1. Choose Your Adventure Option. Select between the Original or Extended story options.
2.Describe Your Hero. Provide a detailed description of your character that will be used for illustrations.
3. Story Outline. Share the essence of your desired adventure, guiding the narrative's direction.
4. Book Cover Finish. Choose a Matte or Gloss finish.
What's the difference between 'Original' and 'Extended' story options?
Generally speaking, the 'Original' option offers a concise story, perfect for younger readers or shorter reading times. The 'Extended' option provides a more detailed narrative for those seeking a deeper adventure. The options vary in price, which you can see on 'Create Your Hero' page.

What information do you need to craft the story?
The story will be created based on two sets of information:
1) Hero Description: describe your hero's key visual characteristics, such as skin and hair colour, style of hair and length. Do you want them to be dressed in specific favourite clothes?
2) Story Description: share the desired setting, main events, and any special elements or characters you want included. You can mention a specific location or people to make it even more personal.
We provide several examples of descriptions during the creation process.
How can I be sure that the final product will meet my expectations?
You'll be able to preview the story draft within 48 hours of placing your order, allowing you to review and approve the content before printing. We also allow for minor text adjustments that you can request.
If the draft doesn't meet your expectations, we'd be happy to offer a full refund.
Will the hero look exactly like my child?
We strive to closely match your child's likeness based on your description. Given our animated illustration style and reliance on descriptions, the final artwork will represent a close approximation rather than an exact likeness. You'll have the opportunity to review the story draft and, if it doesn't meet your expectations, a full refund will be available.
Can I have more than one main character in a story?
At the moment, we can only produce stories with one main character. Having more than character will involve significantly more effort to create illustrations, but we are working on incorporating this option in the future. We can still mention additional characters in the story (family member names, a pet, etc.), but they will not be consistently present throughout.
Can I include a personal message in the book?
Absolutely, you can add a personal dedication or message at the beginning of the book to make your gift even more special. Use 'Order Special Instructions' box at the check-out to request this option.
Product and Delivery
How do you ensure the quality of the illustrations and narratives?
EveryHero combines AI technology with the expertise of talented artists and writers to ensure each book is of the highest quality, with engaging stories and vibrant illustrations.
What are the book's dimensions and cover finish options?
Our books are 8.5 x 8.5 inches (21.6 x 21.6 cm) and come with either a matte or gloss finish for the hardbound cover, based on your preference.
How is the quality of your books ensured?
In addition to only using hard-bound covers, our books are crafted using premium colour printing on high-quality, coated white paper (80#) to ensure vibrant illustrations and a durable finish, making each book a lasting keepsake.
What is the estimated delivery time?
Standard delivery takes 10-14 days from order confirmation. Express delivery options are available at checkout for faster delivery.
Do you offer international shipping?
At the moment we only deliver across United Kingdom, but we will be adding US, Canada, Australia and EU in the near future. If your location is not listed, please get in touch and we can check if we can send it to you.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, we provide a preview option allowing you to review a draft of your story within 48 hours of placing an order. If you're not satisfied at this stage, a full refund is available. After draft approval and printing, refunds are generally not offered, except under special circumstances such as receiving a damaged product. Get in touch with us and we'll do our utmost to help.
